OpenSpirits — Brand Identity

Chicago-based, OpenSprints is a company providing hardware/software solutions to the growing Gold Sprints community. In developing the corporate identity, Lemon Yellow sought to convey a sense of movement and flexibility, key ideas to OpenSprints' products. For the mark, we created a symbol that consisted of a circular line that is "open" in two places, so as to create the impression of an "S" out of an "O". This symbol was in turn the jumping off point for the font that we developed for the logotype.
